Trimeka R. Jackson

Trimeka R. Jackson, a vibrant soul and beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, left us too soon on April 24, 2025. Born on August 27, 1985, Trimeka was a beacon of laughter and faith, leaving an indelible mark on all those fortunate enough to know her. Her joy was contagious, encapsulated in her radiant smile and spirited laughter that echoed through the lives she touched.

Trimeka dedicated herself to her four cherished children—KaiMya, Doctrell, Draevian, and Frentrevius—whose lives were brighter for her love and nurturing. She took immense pride in her granddaughter, Autumn, who brought her endless joy. Trimeka’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support will be profoundly missed by her children and the entire family she so devotedly cared for.

She is survived by her sister, Ashley Jackson, and her brothers, Richard Ray, Jr. and Chad Jackson, who share combined memories of joy and love with her. The legacy of Trimeka extends deep into the familial ties fostered throughout her life; she leaves behind her grandmother, Jean Jackson, and a remarkable array of aunts and uncles—Janice Jackson, Amy Jackson, Jerry Jackson, Victoria Jackson, Jennifer Ray, Melissa Ray, Virginia Woolfolk, Alex Ray, Kenneth Ray, Hosea Jackson, Frentrevius Jackson, Willie Jackson, Prince Thomas, and Jermaine Thomas. Each held a special place in her heart.

Engaged to her beloved fiancé, Dominique Berry, Trimeka’s hopes for the future shone brightly with the love they shared. The bond they cultivated added another layer of happiness amid her cherished relationships.

Though she now rests alongside her deceased family members—parents Richard Ray and Rosie Lee Jackson, grandmother Edna Ray, grandfather Prince Thomas, and uncles James Ray, Patrick Ray, and Prince Jackson—Trimeka's spirit will continue to resonate in the stories shared by her family and friends. Her laughter and faith remain alive in the memories of her loved ones, echoing through the laughter of her children and the bright spirit of her granddaughter.

A visitation to honor Trimeka's memory will be held on May 9, 2025, at C J Williams Mortuary Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi, while her funeral service will follow on May 10, 2025, at the St. Paul Baptist Church Family Life Center. In these moments, friends and family will gather to share their love and reflect on a life truly well-lived—a life that, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and a profound commitment to family and faith.
