Sarah Ann Conner

Sarah Ann Conner, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on April 1, 1960, Sarah was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mississippi, where she completed her primary education at Ken Karl Elementary School and graduated from Vicksburg High School in the class of 1976.

Sarah had a vivacious spirit and was known for her unwavering love for her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She devoted her life to nurturing those around her, and her legacy of kindness and compassion will forever be remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Michael Davis, Loretta Davis, Allen Lyons, Annie Davis, Jimmy Lyons, Latasha Conner, Rebecca Davis, and Jessica Wilson. Additionally, Sarah’s spirit will continue to live on through her 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply. Sarah is also survived by her loving sisters, Brenda Ellis (James) from Griffin, Georgia, and Carolyn Upshaw from Ontario, Canada; as well as her brothers, Otis Davis and Royal Davis.

Sarah was predeceased by her parents, Barnell and Annie Lee Davis, and her grandmother, Corrine Shorter. She also joins several aunts, uncles, and cousins who have passed before her.

Visitation will take place on May 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C J Williams Mortuary Center, located at 1625 Monroe Street, Vicksburg, MS, 39180. A funeral service honoring Sarah’s life will follow on May 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at C J Williams Mortuary Center.

Sarah Ann Conner will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family and friends throughout her life.
