Sandy Mann

Sandy Mann, born on December 25, 1967, departed this world on July 6, 2025. A dedicated individual, Sandy made significant contributions both as a community volunteer and a professional in the transportation sector. He volunteered his time and efforts with the California Conservation Corps, where he passionately served the community. Following his volunteer work, Sandy embarked on a notable career as a San Francisco Municipal Operator, where he devoted 25 years to ensuring the safe and efficient transit of countless passengers.

Sandy's educational journey began at Warren Central High School, from which he graduated with his High School Diploma in 1985. This foundation laid the groundwork for his future endeavors, both educationally and professionally.

His legacy will be lovingly remembered by those he leaves behind. He is survived by his mother, Bertha McQuay, and his brothers, Preston (Minnie) Mann, James (Mary) Mann Jr., Stanley (Karla) Mann, Robert Mann, and Tori McQuay. Sandy will also be missed by his sister, Eva Mann; his aunt, Bessie Williams; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends, all of whom celebrate his life and cherish the memories they shared.

Sandy was preceded in death by his father, James C. Mann, along with other beloved relatives, who welcomed him with open arms.

Visitation will be held on August 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C J Williams Mortuary Center located at 1625 Monroe Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180. The funeral service will take place the following day, August 2, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM  at the same location.

Sandy Mann's spirit will endure through the many lives he touched, and his dedication to both his profession and community will be remembered fondly by all.
