Robert Earl Williams, Sr., born on September 15, 1946, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, passed away on January 6, 2026. A man of integrity and compassion, Robert led a life filled with hard work, dedication to his family, and an unwavering commitment to his community.

Robert devoted many years to his career as a professional truck driver. He spent fifteen noteworthy years with Wiley Sanders Trucking, and later contributed his skills to Timber Weed Trucking Company. His work not only supported his family but also allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life. In addition to his driving career, Robert proudly owned the Low Rider Club in Tallulah, Louisiana, where he built lasting friendships and fostered strong community ties.

Educated through the Vicksburg Warren School District, Robert's pursuit of knowledge did not end there. He attended Foster Cosmetology College and became a licensed barber, showcasing his versatility and commitment to lifelong learning. He furthered his education at Hinds Community College, where he studied air conditioning and refrigeration, embodying a strong desire to enhance his skills and serve his community effectively.

Those who knew Robert will remember him for his strong work ethic, loyalty to family, and the warmth he shared with everyone he met. His genuine nature left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

Robert leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his devoted wife of sixty years, Margaret Johnson Williams; three sons, Robert Earl (Barbara) Williams, Jr., of Antioch, California, Richard (Sengrid) Williams of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Anthony (Sabrina) Williams, Sr., of Tomball, Texas; one daughter, Katherine Williams of Vicksburg, Mississippi; and eight grandchildren, Diamond Williams of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Antoni (Alexia) Moore of Newport News, Virginia, Santwan (Shaunessey) Williams of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Katelyn Moore of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Kayla Williams of Newport News, Virginia, James Williams of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Anthony Williams, Jr., and Alissa Williams, both of Tomball, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Robinson and Annie Mae Williams Brown; his brother, Curtis Williams; and his sisters, Ida Mae Brown and Jerrystine Williams Robinson.

A memorial service to honor Robert Earl Williams, Sr. will be held at C J Williams Mortuary Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi, on January 17, 2026, beginning at 4:00 PM and concluding at 5:00 PM.

Robert's legacy of love and commitment to family will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He will be missed dearly yet remembered fondly for the joy he brought into the lives of others.
