Robert
Bunch, Sr.
Apr 12, 1960 — Oct 10, 2026
Robert Bunch, Sr., was born on April 12, 1960, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to the late Oscar Bunch and Mary Washington Bunch. He peacefully departed this life on October 10, 2026, in his hometown of Vicksburg.
A proud graduate of Warren Central High School’s Class of 1978, Robert dedicated many years to his career in Vicksburg. He retired in 2020 from Dottley Spice, where he served as a supervisor.
Robert had a way of bringing joy wherever he went. Fun-loving and quick with a joke, he was almost always smiling and had a special gift for making people feel good. He enjoyed fishing, bartending, spending time with family, and cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with the people he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Bunch and Mary Washington Bunch; his wife, Senobia Bunch; and his sisters, Jerlean McFarland, Earline Bunch, and Mary Joan Bunch Burks.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory his children: Natasha Tarrio (Henry) of Clinton, Mississippi; Shenika Bridges of DeSoto, Texas; LaJuanda Williams-Griffin of Clinton, Mississippi; Robert Burks of Phoenix, Arizona; Antonio Norfort of Houston, Texas; and Robert Bunch, Jr., of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers, William Bunch (Marie) of Detroit, Michigan, and Arvell Bunch (Janice); and his sisters, Loretta “Tina” Bunch, his beloved buddy, and Hattie B. Hill, both of Vicksburg. His loved ones also include his godchildren, Curtiss J. Winters and Makita Jones; his bonus daughter, Lenora Cooks; and his god-brother and best friend, Notton “June” Jones.
Robert’s legacy of laughter, warmth, and love will live on in the hearts of his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. His presence made their lives brighter, and he will be deeply missed.
