Moses Arone Hearron, Jr., known affectionately as Mose, was born on 22,1981, and passed away on January 6, 2026. A man of remarkable dedication and pride, Mose's life was a testament to hard work and resilience.
He was educated through the Vicksburg Warren School District in Mississippi, and furthered his studies at the Baseville Job Corps Center and Hinds Community College. Throughout his career, he held notable positions including roles with Tyson Foods and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mat Sinking Unit. His independent spirit also drove him to pursue various entrepreneurial endeavors, showcasing his determination and innovative approach to life.
Mose was a person who appreciated the richness of existence, often sharing his philosophy with those around him, stating, “Life is not just about being alive; it’s about being able to laugh, live, and love.” His ability to embrace joy and spread love made a significant impact on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Virgia W. Hearron and Mose Arone Hearron, Sr. Mose leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories through his sons, Mo’Darruis Justavion Hearron and Roydale Atkins, as well as his daughters, Toya Le’anne Hayes, Khelsi Ari’Unah Williams, and Tam’rance Etta Mae Beard. Additionally, he welcomed his stepchildren, Rodrick La’Shawn Hayes, Johnja’lyn Carimince Evans, and Ta’Niya Nicole Hayes into his heart, and he was a proud grandfather to Bias Grayson De’Shawn Jones.
Mose is also remembered fondly by his siblings: his sister, Tamriel W. (Robert) McBride, and brothers Aaron Hearron and DeAndre Daniels. A robust family network surrounds him, including many nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, and aunts, among them the Buchanan, Ellis, Elmore, Hearron, Miller, and Williams families.
He was preceded in death by his beloved brothers, Kennado Caples, Arone Washington, and Kristoffer Hearron, and his cherished grandparents, Charlie Williams, Virgie A. Williams, Mose Ellis, and Rosie Lee Buchanan.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Moses Arone Hearron, Jr. will be held on January 18, 2026, at the House of Peace Worship Church International in Vicksburg, Mississippi, beginning at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the cherished memories of Mose, whose spirit will undoubtedly continue to inspire those he left behind.
