LaToya LaSha Moore, born on March 17, 1981, passed away on December 26, 2025. Throughout her life, LaToya exemplified warmth, compassion, and a spirited sense of joy that touched everyone she met. She was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
LaToya leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Audrey Gail Moore Randle; father, Steve Randle; sister, Darienne Moore; and brothers, Derrick (Angela) Moore and Steven (April) Randle. She is also survived by a host of aunts and uncles who held a special place in her life and heart: McKinley (ShaToya) Moore III, Rodney (Wendy) Moore, Terrance (Shunda) Moore, Corey Moore, Eddie (Linda) Moore, Jonas (Annette) Miller, Marie Miller, Janie Miller, Arlene Miller, Gracie Miller, Ida Miller, Dela (Lamarn) Thompson, Doretha Williams, Deloris (Lemonia) Williams, Ann Moore, Jewel Randle, Tillie Randle (Donald) Dorris, Dorothy Randle Hamilton, Lawrence Hooper (Frances) Randle, Mary Edwards, Shirley Randall, Towanda Miller, and April Jones. Her family also includes numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom shared in the love and laughter that LaToya brought into their lives.
LaToya’s life, though too brief, was rich with meaning. She endeared herself to family and friends alike, always leaving a mark of kindness and joy. Her profound connection with her loved ones will serve as a source of comfort as they navigate the days ahead without her physical presence.
LaToya was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruby Lee Moore; grandfather, McKinley Moore, Jr.; great-grandmothers, Ettee Miller and Effie Moore; great-grandfathers, James Lester Miller and McKinley Moore I; great-uncles, James Lester Miller, Jr., George Miller, John Moore, Leon Moore, Nick Williams, and Lucius Gaskin; and great-aunts, Paula Miller Davis and Dorothy Gaskin. Each of these individuals played a role in shaping LaToya's life, and their legacy continues through her memory.
A funeral service to honor LaToya's life will be held on January 10, 2026, at C J Williams Mortuary Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The service will begin at 11:00 AM.
As family and friends gather to celebrate her life, they will remember LaToya not only for the love she shared but for the joy she instilled in those around her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who carry her memory forward.
