Julius Ray Hebron, born on January 26, 1950, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026. He was a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, whose impact on the lives of his family members and the community will undoubtedly be felt for years to come.

Julius dedicated a significant part of his professional life to his work, serving as a route man for Bell Music Company before concluding his career at Cooper Lighting, where he retired. His commitment and work ethic were evident in all he undertook, reflecting a man who took great pride in providing for his family.

He is survived by three devoted daughters: Veronica Hebron Brown (Christopher), Albert Tina Ross, and Faye Ross. Julius also leaves behind two sons, Anthony Andre Ross and David Ross, along with two stepsons, Dewayne Winters (Wanda) and Herman Winters (Angela). His family continued to grow through the years, and he is remembered lovingly by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Julius was also a beloved brother to Andrea Gooden Stewart (Sammy) and an adoring uncle to several nieces and nephews. His family will carry forward his legacy of love, resilience, and dedication to one another.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Hebron, his father, Samuel Gooden, and his wife, Alerta Ann Young Hebron, all of whom he cherished deeply.

A visitation will be held in his memory on February 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at C J Williams Mortuary Center, located at 1625 Monroe Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180. This will be followed by a funeral service on February 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the same location.

Julius Ray Hebron’s spirit and kindness will be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
