Joseph Bailey Spicer

Joseph Bailey Spicer, born on February 1, 1961, passed away on November 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. A proud resident of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Joseph was married to Pamela Spicer, and a nurturing father to his sons, Fontane, Victor, Richard, Christian, Josiah, Revelation, Joseph, Jr., and Obadiah, as well as his daughters, Malissa and Pamela.

Joseph was a dedicated member of his community and took great pride in his educational journey, having attended Kings Elementary and Vicksburg High School. His spirit and determination were reflected in the way he approached life, serving as a guiding light for his family. He was a proud grandfather to Kayla, Fontane, Jr., Amari, Beautiful, Julian, Aston, Saphira, Ariel, Nora, Kimani, Messiah, Joi, and Armontae, who brought him immense joy. In addition, he was a great-grandfather to Kaycen, Alaya, and Bennett, solidifying a family tree that he nurtured and cherished deeply.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd T. Spicer and Margaret Jones Spicer, along with four sisters and three brothers, who are lovingly remembered. His life was marked by deep connections with his family, and he will be missed profoundly by those who knew him.

Services to celebrate Joseph's life are scheduled to take place at C J Williams Mortuary Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on December 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at C J Williams Mortuary Center on December 6, 2025, starting at 2:30 PM .
