Johnnie B Tolliver

JOHNNIE B TOLLIVER was born on December 6, 1951, to the late James Tolliver and Nettie Wilson Tolliver.

Johnnie B was educated in the Vicksburg public school system and proudly served in the United States Armed Forces, earning the honorable title of veteran. He was adventurous, outgoing, and always eager to experience something new. His vibrant personality, warm spirit, and love for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Johnnie B was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James Tolliver and Nettie Wilson Tolliver; sisters, Beatrice Lee Thornton and Catherine Tolliver Davis Washington; brother, Reverend Leroy Wilson; and special friend, Essie Mae Newsome.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: his two beloved sons, Anthony Thornton and Andrian Tolliver. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, including his special niece, Vonder Lee, who held a treasured place in his heart. Additionally, he leaves behind his beloved bonus children, whom he loved, nurtured, and embraced as his own: Sheena Newsome, Tanisha Newsome, Ronnie Newsome, and Mia Newsome. Johnnie B. also shared special family bonds with his beloved lifelong friends, Percy and Monica Shorter and Robert James.

Though he has departed from this earthly life, the memories of Johnnie B will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. His legacy of love, friendship, service, and adventure will be cherished for generations to come.
