John Albert King

John Albert King was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, on August 2, 1940. He was educated in the Warren County School System and later answered the call to serve in the United States Army.

John was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He was cherished by those who knew and loved him and will be remembered for his quiet strength, warm spirit, and the love he shared with family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Squire; son, John Davis; daughter, Nina Nicole White; and a host of beloved aunts and uncles.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his devoted wife, Olevia White King; sons, Richard (Pamela) King of Columbus, Georgia, Alphonce Williams, Toma (Kimberly) King; daughters, Monica (Rossie) Gray, Sonja (Tyrone), Tiffany (Rufus) Jenkins, all of Vicksburg, MS; sister, Ida Kennedy; granddaughter, Sherronda Raymond of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Marcus (Marlissa) King of Atlanta, GA; and a host of grandchildren who he loved dearly.

Though he has departed from this earthly life, the love, memories, and legacy of John Albert King will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
