Jeremy Allen Jumal Bailey

Jeremy Allen Jamal Bailey, born on January 18, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois, to Alicia Ann Lee and Reginald Bailey, passed away on January 19, 2026. His life, though brief, was filled with vibrant moments and cherished experiences that will forever resonate in the hearts of those he left behind.

At the young age of four, Jeremy and his family moved to Vicksburg, Mississippi. In his formative years, he was profoundly influenced by his family, particularly by his brothers' father, Demetri Martin Sr., who lovingly considered Jeremy as his own son. During his teenage years, Jeremy made the significant decision to confess his faith and was baptized, marking a pivotal moment in his spiritual journey.

Jeremy was known for his infectious personality; he brought joy and laughter into every gathering and was often the life of every event. His warmth, exuberance, and genuine spirit will be deeply missed by many who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved mother, Alicia Lee; father, Reginald Bailey; daughters, Jakiera Bailey, Je'niyah Raider, Kaila Wilkins, Emonia Singleton, and Embella Singleton; son, Evont Singleton; brothers, Demetri Martin Jr. and Dorian Martin; grandmother, Georgia Lee; grandfather, James Lee; aunt, Sharon Lee; and a host of nieces, a nephew, and countless cousins and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his baby brother, DeMarcus Justin Baxter Lee, and his aunt, Jamie Lynn Lee. His legacy of love, laughter, and faith will continue to inspire and comfort those mourning his loss.

Visitation will be held on February 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C J Williams Mortuary Center, located at 1625 Monroe Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180. A funeral service will take place the following day, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow until 12:00 PM at the same venue.
