Demetrious is survived by his loving wife, Laken Gibson, and his beloved children, Joshua Gibson and Wisdom Gibson, who will carry his memory forward with honor. He is also survived by his devoted village of parents who loved, guided, and supported him throughout his life: Mary (TJ) Payne, Roan (Shirley) Gibson, and Nellie Porter.

He leaves in cherished remembrance his siblings: Victoria Payne, Olivia Johnson, Brittany Gibson, Roan Gibson, Jr., Roan (Shareeka) Thomas, and Nicholas Buckley; along with a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friends who will forever hold him close in heart.
