Betty Kaye Cosby

Betty Kaye Cosby, born on July 25, 1968, departed this life on December 18, 2025. She was a vibrant soul who embraced life fully, radiating joy, positivity, and a spirit that uplifted everyone blessed to know her. Betty found her greatest happiness in dancing and in the precious moments spent with her family. Her infectious laughter and warm smile left an indelible mark on all who shared in her light.

As a devoted partner, Betty shared a deep and loving bond with Charles Qualls. Together, they formed a blended and beautiful family that will forever carry her legacy. She was a proud mother to Monica and Irvin Cosby, and her heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren: Tristan, A’Miyah, A’Niyah, and Bella. Betty was also a cherished presence in the lives of Charles’s children—Louis, Desmond, and Shannon—forging meaningful connections that extended far beyond traditional ties.

Betty was the beloved daughter of Edgar Price and Rosetta Aggaus, who nurtured her with love and guidance throughout her life. Her warmth, compassion, and generous spirit will be remembered fondly by her family and friends as they navigate the loss of such a remarkable woman.

In celebration of her life and the joy she brought to those around her, a Memorial Service will be held on March 15, 2026, beginning at 4:30 PM at C J Williams Mortuary Center, 1625 Monroe Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180. Friends and family are invited to gather in honor of Betty’s memory, reflecting on the love, laughter, and light she shared with all.
